I recently had the pleasure of working with Albany based design and marketing firm ID29, on images for Sterling Rope. We created portraits of a variety of people who use Sterling ropes: Firefighters, professional climbers, and arborists. Two day shoot, one at a fantastic climbing gym in Long Island City, The Cliffs. Day two, at the Sterling Rope factory in Biddeford, Maine.
Both days went amazingly well, and I had a blast working with the guys at ID29, the clients from Sterling, and of course my amazing crew of talented make-up artists, and assistants.
Below are a few set photos and samples from the new Sterling Rope catalog. Images will also be used for packaging and trade show booths!
Last year I had the pleasure of photographing Thomas Sandell of Sandell Asset Management Corp., for The Hedgefund Journal, a magazine based in London. He had such a great time on that shoot, that he invited me back today to photograph the whole investment team for their new website.
Recently went to Antigua on assignment to shoot the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge (more on that in another post). I stayed on the island an extra 5 days to explore, photograph, and relax. Needless to say, it was amazing. All images created with Fujifilm x100s and X-Pro1.
A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Thomas Sandell, founder and Chairman of Sandell Asset Management in New York City. My second assignment for UK’s Hedgefund Journal. Thomas was a great subject, and after we covered the bases for the assignment, he suggested we shoot a few portraits in the roof of the building. I’m always up for taking CEO’s out of their normal environment, and of course I love a good city roof top!
